Adam prepared for penalty pressure

The former Rangers man had a spot-kick saved in last week's 4-1 Carling Cup demolition of Wigan but he followed up to tuck away the rebound. And he had no hesitation in stepping up from 12 yards to fire home a penalty in Saturday's 3-0 win over Coventry. Adam said: "I am someone who will always stand up and be counted. I am not going to hide from anything. "I know that being the penalty taker is going to be a big challenge, but it is something that I look forward to. "Somebody has got to take the responsibility and at the moment when the penalties come along I am there to take them."
