Adam injury blow for Seasiders

15 December 2009 06:01
Adam started last weekend's game at Ipswich on the bench and a scan has revealed the severity of the problem.

"The reason Charlie didn't play on Saturday was because I thought he was starting with a calf injury," Holloway told the club's official website.

"It now looks like he has got that calf injury following a scan on it. He might be out for a couple of weeks, which isn't good news, but such is life."

Adam will join David Vaughan on the sidelines as he serves a one-game suspension.
