The 23-year-old midfielder has two Scotland caps to his name but has not featured in qualifying for the 2010 World Cup.[LNB]"I don't need to prove to anybody in Scotland what I'm doing down here," he told the club's official website.[LNB]"The most important thing for me is playing well for Blackpool and pushing them as high up the table as I can.[LNB]"I love playing for my country. But the manager picks the squad and if I'm not in the squad I need to keep playing well to show him that I'm ready.
