The midfielder consigned Forest to their third home defeat in four games after he recovered from an overnight illness to clinch the Seasiders' first away win with a superb left-foot strike. The £500,000 club-record signing set off on a run from halfway before coolly slotting past keeper Lee Camp. Adam, signed from Rangers in the summer, said: "I wasn't well Thursday or Friday. "I was sick before kick-off then me and Alex Baptiste were suffering at half-time. I'm not sure how I saw out 90 minutes."
