Yakubu Receives Nigeria Call

Yakubu has been in fine form of late for Blackburn Rovers and that is the reason why the striker has earned a recall to the Nigerian national squad for the up and coming game against Rwanda.

Yakubu’s goals have given the club a chance of staying up this season and that prompted Nigeria coach Stephen Keshi to waste no time in drafting in the much-travelled hitman.

The players are expected in camp on Sunday February 26, before flying out to Rwanda for the game on Monday, February 27.
