Lord Sugar last night urgedcaution as Blackburn Roversbecame the ninth BarclaysPremier League club to bebought by foreign owners. After Indian poultry companyVenky's finally completed a£23million takeover at EwoodPark, the former Tottenhamchairman tweeted: 'BlackburnRovers has just been sold tothe Indian family, another PLclub in foreign hands. Warning: Lord Alan Sugar has warned Blackburn over their takeover 'I hopethey know what they aredoing.' The Rao family bought theJack Walker Trust's 99.9 percent holding in the club andpromised to expand theclub's profits by marketingRovers in Asia.
