Sven Goran Eriksson considered for Blackburn Rovers director of football role

Sven Goran Eriksson's football exile could be over as Blackburn Rovers consider asking the former England manager to become their director of football. Eriksson departed Leicester City last month, but could be back in the game with Rovers who are struggling in the bottom three of the Barclays Premier League. The club's Indian owners Venky's would see Eriksson as having the necessary high-profile to take the club forward and could also see him as the solution to replace current boss Steve Kean, should the Rovers' fortunes fail to improve, according to reports in the Sunday Mirror.
