Northampton Town goalkeeper Mark Bunn has completed his transfer to Blackburn Rovers and is shocked by the speed of the move.

The 23-year-old has signed a four-year deal with Rovers after making over 100 appearances for the Cobblers.

Bunn will provide competition for new Rovers number one Paul Robinson and Wales international Jason Brown.

The shot-stopper, who came through the ranks at Tottenham Hotspur before joining Northampton in 2000, said: "I'm absolutely delighted to be here. It's a dream come true really.

"I went into training on Friday and got a call from my agent and then obviously the gaffer at Northampton (Stuart Gray) pulled me in and told me.

"I got the medical done on Sunday and today I've signed. It still hasn't really sunk in, but I'm really looking forward to meeting all the lads tomorrow."
