Rovers Defender Goes To York City

Blackburn Rovers defender Jack O'Connell is joining York City on a month's loan

The 18 year old is held in high regard by the powers that be at Rovers and is hotly tipped to be a star of the future at Ewood Park.

He has just returned from a successful loan spell at Rotherham United where he made five appearances.

New manager Michael Appleton is more than happy for the youngster to go out and gain more first team experience. O'Connell has represented England at Under-18 and Under-19 level.
