Rams Star A Target For Kean

There are reports today that have Blackburn Rovers linked with a move for Derby County striker Steve Davies.

Davies has been on the transfer list since the end of last season after turning down a new contract for personal reasons, now Sky Sports News believes that Steve Kean will be about to swoop.

Last season Davies was Derby’s joint top scorer last season and Kean knows that he must boost his firepower up front even more if Rovers are to stand a chance of coming back up to the Premier League at the first time of asking.

But to get their man, Kean must persuade Davies that he would be better off coming to Ewood Park rather than Ipswich Town who are also interested in the striker.
