Popov Reports Are Not True Say Rovers

Reports that say Rovers target Bulgarian Ivelin Popov is not at the club because a work permit was refused are well wide of the mark. Some websites reported this morning that Rovers made a move for Litex Lovechs' Popov but visa issues forced the club to abandon the move, but the club have come out and said the stories are untrue. The reason Popov is not at the club is because nobody came in for Jason Roberts which means Rovers have enough strikers on their books Rovers chairman John Williams, said: "The reports are not true."
