Papers Say Roque On The Way
According to the trash press this morning Blackburn Rovers are looking at bringing Roque Santa Cruz back to Blackburn for a cut down price. £4 million should be enough to get the striker who is now well down the pecking order at the City of Manchester Stadium, a far cry from the £18 million Rovers let him go for when Mark Hughes was in charge at Eastlands. The player now has family settled in the area and is believed to have told friends that we wouldn’t mind a move back to Ewood. Rovers chief Sam Allardyce has made an experienced striker his top priority now he has cash to spend following the takeover by poultry firm Venky's.
