One Clown Is Enough

Venkys have not dithered about in coming to the press to deny the rumour that Sven Goran Eriksson would be coming to Ewood Park.

Some clown worked it out in his head that the ex-England boss would be coming to Blackburn as a Director of football to try and give Steve Kean a clue about what he is doing.

Eriksson was recently sent packing from championship side Leicester City and it has been no secret that he wants to return to the Premier League in some capacity.

However, a spokesman for the club's Indian owners Venky's is adamant that there is no substance in the rumours.The source told the Lancashire Telegraph: "We already have a sporting director in place. "There is nothing in this at all."
