Nelsen signs new Blackburn deal

Blackburn defender Ryan Nelsen has signed a new contract at Ewood Park that will run until 2013.The New Zealand international, 33, was contracted to Rovers until next year, but has penned a one-year extension. Nelsen joined Blackburn from DC United in 2005 and has made in excess of 200 appearances for the club.
