Blackburn Rovers manager Sam Allardyce has continued a busy few days of transfer activity by signing the French midfielder Steven N'Zonzi from Amiens SC on a four-year contract.
The 20-year-old has represented France at youth level and moves to Ewood Park for an undisclosed transfer fee.
N'Zonzi only made his professional debut 15 months ago but featured in 35 matches for Amiens last term.
"It is a big move for me and I am really pleased to have done it with Blackburn," he said.
"It is true it will be a big difference as I am used to playing in the championship in France but I am young and I am here to learn.
"I really want to do the best to improve my game, training every day with experienced players and give my best for the new challenge.
"It is a big challenge and I want to succeed. I am sure the coach and the staff will help me to become a good player."
Since selling Roque Santa Cruz to Manchester City last week, Allardyce has bought Gael Givet, Lars Jacobsen and now N'Zonzi.
