Mijailovic loses appeal

Wisla Krakow defender Nikola Mijailovic has lost his appeal against a five-match ban handed out by UEFA for him racially abusing Blackburn Rovers striker Benni McCarthy.
The 24-year-old Serb was charged with making racist remarks towards the South Africa international at the end of the UEFA Cup tie between the sides on October 19, which ended 2-1 to Rovers.
Rovers had earlier applauded UEFA's swift action over the incident, with a club statement reading: "Firstly, we appreciate UEFA's speed in dealing with this important issue.
"Secondly, we believe that UEFA's decision sends out a clear message that racism will not - and should not - be tolerated in the game."
