Kean hails progress
Blackburn boss Steve Kean believes his team are showing progress after their goalless draw with Arsenal.Rovers moved up to 14th in the Barclays Premier League after a hard-fought point against the Gunners - which they achieved despite having midfielder Steven Nzonzi sent off - but they are still only two points clear of the drop zone.Kean insists they are heading in the right direction, though. He said: "We set out a plan to make sure their midfield three did not get as much time on the ball as they like and we did that well in the first half."When we lost a man we thought 'here we go', but we showed good togetherness and the lads were tremendous with a fantastic appetite to get something."It is a very important point and keeps our momentum going."
