Hughes slams Todd talk

Blackburn Rovers boss Mark Hughes has rubbished rumours that defender Andy Todd is poised to join Rangers.
Todd, 32, has been linked with the Ibrox club in recent weeks and speculation mounted that the former Bolton and Charlton centre-half was heading north of the border after he missed Rovers' 2-0 defeat by Arsenal on Saturday.
But Hughes has denied claims that the veteran stopper is on his way out of Ewood Park and insists Todd missed the match because of a groin injury.
He said: "I have had no contact from Rangers regarding Andy Todd and he didn't play because he got injured.
"We still have Ryan Nelsen out of action so I am not in the business of letting centre-backs go."
Todd has made only ten appearances for Rovers this season.
