Hughes in Savage mood

Blackburn Rovers manager Mark Hughes has slammed the media for offering little comment on the tackle by Watford's Alhassan Bangura that has ended Robbie Savage's season prematurely.
Savage is almost certain to miss the rest of the campaign after suffering a fracture in his right leg during the 2-1 defeat at Vicarage Road, with Hughes an angry man after looking at footage of the incident.
He commented: "The more and more I've looked at it the more I've been disappointed with the challenge and the coverage of it.
"For whatever reason, it's been swept under the table. The referee didn't give a free-kick at the time, for whatever reason he didn't see it - one of a number of things he didn't see on the night.
"But if Robbie Savage committed a foul like that I'm almost certain something else would have come up.
"I'd suggest that if the roles had been reversed, there would have been a much bigger say in the media regarding the challenge."
