Friedel calm in defeat

Blackburn Rovers goalkeeper Brad Friedel is looking for his side to bounce back quickly from their 3-0 opening day drubbing at Portsmouth.
Rovers were well beaten at Fratton Park, also ending the game with nine men after the sendings-off of Lucas Neill and Andy Todd.
However, Friedel is happy that they have a chance to put it right against Everton on Wednesday.
He told the club's official website: "The good thing, and I know a lot of managers and players say it after a poor result and a poor performance, but the good news is that we have a game at home on Wednesday night.
"We don't have an international week where you have to wait a fortnight before you play, so we'll hopefully take our good home form that we had last year into Wednesday night's game.
"Hopefully we can get three points on the board and hopefully be on the front foot from there.
"There are a lot of areas that we have to look at to improve, but there are 37 games left, so I don't think it is doom and gloom stuff just yet."
