Euro stroll pleases Hughes

Blackburn boss Mark Hughes was pleased with the way his Rovers side strolled to a 6-0 aggregate victory against FK Vetra of Vilnius in the Intertoto Cup on Saturday.
After winning 2-0 in Lithuania last weekend, Rovers were always likely to progress to the second qualifying round of the UEFA Cup - the draw for which will be made on Friday - and so it proved, to Hughes' delight.
He told the club's official website: "We're very pleased. Obviously once the first goal went in that was effectively the tie over.
"And obviously once the guy got sent off it was game over from our point of view.
"But when you're in that situation you want to make sure that you get the job professionally done, and I thought in the second half we used it to great effect.
"We were able to get a good workout, score a number of goals and finished it off in the right way so we're delighted with the day.
"I thought in the wide areas that was the difference.
"The quality into the box and the general play in wide areas was good and that's what you've got to do when you've an extra guy, you've to make it pay, and we did that by getting the ball in wide areas and getting good deliveries into the box."
