Cameroon midfielder Achille Emana appears to have turned his back on a move to England by pledging his immediate future to Real Betis.
The 27-year-old has been linked with a number of Premier League clubs in recent months, but now insists that he is focused solely on helping his club regain their place in the Spanish top-flight.
He stated: "The rumours are over. I have spoken with the club and we have decided to continue with our relationship.
"I am determined to help Real Betis return to the Primera Liga. Everyone is pulling in the same direction and I am very happy with this decision.
"I did receive a number of offers from foreign clubs, but they were not interesting enough for me to make a change."
