Dunn savours derby success

David Dunn expressed his delight after helping Blackburn to a 3-2 victory over local rivals Burnley. The attacking midfielder produced a man-of-the-match performance at Ewood Park and scored the early equaliser after Robbie Blake had put the Clarets in front. He played down his own contribution and preferred to concentrate on the result, which relieves the pressure on Rovers ahead of away games against Chelsea and Manchester United. "To score against Burnley was great but more important than that was to get the three points," Dunn told Sky Sports. "Our next couple of games are really difficult so it's great to get 10 points before we play those matches. "But you could see by the reaction of the fans at the end how much this meant." Dunn's display prompted chants of 'Dunny for England' from the crowd but the 29-year-old accepts it will be hard to break into Fabio Capello's squad. "Who knows? It's difficult to get in the England team given the amount of quality players they have," he said. "I'll keep doing my best for Blackburn. You never know."
