Draw Was Fair Says Appleton
Michael Appleton said that a draw was the right result after his Rovers side had played out a 0-0 draw with Leeds United at Ewood Park on Saturday.
Whereas Neil Warnock left the ground whinging that his side missed chances that would have given them the three points, Appleton was more calm saying both sides had their chances to win the game.
But neither side could find the net and it was the Rovers boss who was the happier with the point.
He told reporters: "It could have gone either way. I thought it was two sides going hammer and tongs with each other.
"I thought it was a good game to be involved in, but I think Neil would have thought it a little harsh had we got the winner, and I'd have thought it was harsh if they had got the winner."
