Blackburn's El Hadji Diouf targeted in 3m raid by Turkish side Konyaspor

Turkish delight: El-Hadji Diouf could be on his way out of Blackburn Rovers Konyaspor have made a £3million bid for Blackburn striker El Hadji Diouf. Senegal international Diouf is ready to move away from Blackburn during this month's transfer window with the player having just 18 months to run on his current contract. Sportsmail revealed the Turks' offer this morning and the 30-year-old is seriously considering the move. West Ham were interested in signing Diouf but that move hit an impasse after Blackburn decided to ask for a fee after initially indicating he could leave on a free. Kayserispor have now offered to put money down for the former Liverpool record signing and are ready to offer him a lucrative deal to lure him to Turkey. Diouf's representative Willie McKay said: 'Konyaspor have made a bid to Blackburn for El Hadji. 'There has been a lot of interest in El Hadji in England and across Europe as Blackburn have indicated they would be willing to let him move on for a minimal fee. This way to Turkey: Controversial star Diouf could be about to end his spell at Ewood Park 'El Hadji's first preference would be to stay in England, but he is seriously considering the offer from Konyaspor.
