Blackburn prepare move for Denni Avdic as scouts head to Sweden to watch him in action

Super Swede: Blackburn have sent scouts to check on IF Elfsborg striker Denni Avdic Blackburn manager Sam Allardyce has inquired about Swedish striker Denni Avdic. The £2m-rated 21-year-old, who plays for IF Elfsborg, has also attracted interest from West Brom. Allardyce has sent scouts to check on Avdic's performance against Napoli in the Europa League on Thursday. His pursuit of the striker comes alongside interest in a host of other forwards including Ivelin Popov and Benjani. Allardyce is already added Manchester United forward Mame Biram Diouf to his ranks. With talk of a foreign investor planning to buy the club, Rovers have also been linked with David Beckham.
