Blackburn complete 1.7m swoop for French starlet Steven N'Zonzi

Blackburn Rovers have signed French midfielder Steven N'Zonzi from Amiens SC on a four-year contract. The 20-year-old, who represented France at youth level, has moved to Ewood Park for an undisclosed fee, understood by Sportsmail to be £1.7million. N'Zonzi only made his professional debut in April 2008 but last season played 35 times as his club side were relegated from Ligue 2. They have also beaten Burnley to the signature of Danish right back Lars Jacobsen on a two-year deal and are closing on his Everton team mate Andy van der Meyde.
