Blackburn close to Chimbonda deal

Blackburn hope to conclude a deal to sign right-back Pascal Chimbonda from Tottenham by the end of the week for a fee believed to be around £2m.Rovers chairman John Williams has confirmed to BBC Radio Lancashire that the clubs are in negotiations for the 30-year-old France international.
