Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce told he'll have funds to spend in January

Cash to splash: Blackburn boss Allardyce Sam Allardyce has been promised funds to bolster his Blackburn Rovers side in the wake of the £43m buy-out. Rovers' takeover by Indian-based chicken company Venky's has opened the door to new faces arriving at Ewood Park. Allardyce has already pleaded for cash to strengthen in the January transfer window. Chairman Anuradha J Desai said: 'We are not a selling club now. We are in the market for good players that can improve the team. We have a commitment to the fans and the club and we will be investing. New players will be arriving.' The new owners have also rubbished claims they plan to rename Ewood Park - Rovers' home since 1890.  Former Bolton striker Ricketts training with ex-boss Allardyce at BlackburnWelcome to...
