Black Does His Chances No Harm
Interim manager Eric Black made it two games and two draws, last night, both away from home and against difficult opposition.
This won't do his chances of getting the job on a permanent basis any worse, even though there are some big names being linked with the job.
Last night Rovers came up against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground and the outcome was a 0-0 draw.
But the 49 year old insists that he has not applied for the job, he will however be in charge of the game against Wolves at the weekend.
Black told the Press Association: "The important thing at the moment is what happens to Blackburn Rovers because no matter who is manager, the club will be here in 10, 20 or 30 years time.
"The club have explained everything to me and I fully understand that there is a lot of interest in what is an exceptional job. There will be a lot of candidates for it."
