Black Cats wait on duo

Sunderland boss Steve Bruce must wait on the news of new central midfield partnership Lee Cattermole and Lorik Cana ahead of Saturday's home clash with Blackburn. Cattermole hurt his back in a challenge during the game against Chelsea while Cana damaged a hand. Bruce said: "Lorik Cana has got X-rays in the morning. He's got a bang on his hand and it could be broken. We hope not."
