Allardyce seals Linganzi deal

Blackburn Rovers manager Sam Allardyce has continued to revamp his mid-table squad by snapping up the St Etienne midfielder Amine Linganzi.

The 20-year-old Algerian-born player has signed a three-and-a-half year contract at Ewood Park and will remain with the club until at least the summer of 2013.

Linganzi came through the youth team ranks at St Etienne and joins Rovers on a free transfer.

He has little first-team experience though having made just four substitute appearances for the French side.

Allardyce wrapped up the signing of Turkey international midfielder Yildiray Basturk on loan from Stuttgart until the end of the season earlier in the week.
