Craig Short started his career with his brother in the 1986/87 season at Pickering Town. He played with his brother at Notts County and Scarborough before moving to Derby County in 1992 on his own. He joined Everton 3 seasons later and played over 100 games for both teams. Then in 1999 he signed for Blackurn Rovers for 1.7million pounds.
