Witsel opts for Benfica switch
enfica have completed the signing of Axeil Witsel from Standard Liege after the Belgian star snubbed the chance to join Blackburn.[LNB] Witsel, who was also being tracked by the likes of Blackburn, Roma and AC Milan, completed his move to the Estadio da Luza on Wednesday.[LNB]The 22-year-old has penned a five-year deal with the Portuguese giants.[LNB]Witsel is expected to be soon followed out of Liege by midfield colleague Steven Defour - who is in talks with Lokomotiv Moscow.
