Wenger: No Jones enquiry yet
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has confirmed his interest in Blackburn's Phil Jones, but he will not be making an immediate move for the youngster.[LNB] The 18-year-old has come to prominence ins recent months after being handed his first Premier League by Sam Alladryce in March.[LNB]The Gunners have been reported as leading the chase for Jones, ahead of the likes of Chelsea, Manchester City, Liverpool and Tottenham.[LNB]Wenger has now confirmed his interest, but admits he is not considering a bid at the moment.[LNB]"He's had a few good games but we've not made an enquiry about him," Wenger told the Daily Telegraph. [LNB]"I think he is a good player - but not yet. He needs to play longer to really assess him."[LNB]
