Stephen Warnock expects El-Hadji Diouf to play a crucial role in Blackburn's battle against relegation.[LNB] The Senegalese forward moved to Ewood Park from Sunderland towards the end of the January transfer window and he made a bright start to his Rovers career when he came on for the second half of Saturday's defeat to Aston Villa.[LNB]Diouf has a bad reputation with supporters around the country and Warnock believes he will be determined to succeed with Blackburn.[LNB]The full-back, who played with Diouf at Liverpool, is confident his former team-mate will make a big impact.[LNB]"People always boo players that are good. You will always find that," Warnock told the Lancashire Evening Telegraph. [LNB]"They can say what they want but people will boo him because he is a good player and they are scared of him.[LNB]"That can only be a bonus for us and our fight to stay up. Players and fans from other teams are scared of him because they know exactly what he can do.[LNB]"He is a fantastic player. I think he will be a very important player for us."[LNB]
