Vogel contract ripped up by Rovers
Vogel made just eight appearances during his year at Rovers and his exit comes as no surprise.
The 32-year-old signed in March last year after leaving Real Betis following a legal dispute with the Spanish club.
Vogel, who previously played for AC Milan and PSV Eindhoven, was signed by Mark Hughes but was frozen out following his departure to Manchester City.
