Twelve Burnley and Blackburn fans charged after crowd trouble in East Lancashire derby

Twelve people have been charged by police after trouble flared at Sunday's East Lancashire derby between Burnley and Blackburn at Turf Moor.[LNB]A total of 42 people were arrested as Blackburn fans ripped up seats and smashed toilets, while Burnley fans have been accused of threatening behaviour and language.[LNB]Nine further people have been cautioned while nine were given penalty notice disorders.[LNB] Disturbance: Police attempt to control fans after the final whistle at Turf Moor[LNB] [LNB] [LNB]The 12 charged, who will appear before magistrates this or next week, are: [LNB]Lee Smith, 28, of Eaglais Way, Macclesfield, charged with using threatening words/behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress. [LNB]Roger Goldie, 41, of Sacksville Street, Nelson, charged with racially / religiously aggravated harassment / alarm / distress by words / writing. [LNB] Chris Heffernan, 29, of Prestwich Street, Burnley, charged with using threatening words/behaviour to causes harassment, alarm or distress. [LNB]Mark Traill, 29, of Oat Street, Padiham, charged with section four words/behaviour fear unlawful violence. [LNB]Colin Dunn, 22, of Park Road, Chorley, charged with section four words/behaviour fear unlawful violence. [LNB]Simon Morgan, 44 of Revidge Road, Blackburn, charged with using threatening words/behaviour to causes harassment alarm or distress.[LNB] Dominic Hosker, 19, of Brunshaw Avenue, Burnley, charged with drunk and disorderly in a public place.[LNB] Duncan Bradshaw, 41, of Brunshaw Avenue, Burnley, charged with drunk and disorderly in a public place.
