Harry Redknapp had left White Hart Lane by the time the news broke that Roy Hodgson seemed to have the England job in the bag.[LNB] Earlier, when asked if there  had been an approach, the Tottenham manager produced his routine reply. 'I've never heard anything from anybody,' said Redknapp. 'I'm totally focused on the job here.' [LNB]Before that, he watched Spurs overcome a feeble Blackburn with goals from Rafael van der Vaart and Kyle Walker to revive their slender hopes of finishing third. Redknapp might also have noted that his luck had started to turn.
