ShareSimon Jones is Sportsmail's man on the inside of all the major transfer moves this summer. [LNB]His column, published every weekday, offers an insight into the deals which will be done and those that won't - and why. [LNB]A 5/5-rating means The Insider reckons it's a done deal; 0/5 means The Insider has his mortgage on it not happening.[LNB]Don't miss your daily Insider instalment here.[LNB] PHIL JONESBlackburn to Manchester UnitedTHE INSIDER says: 5/5[LNB]CAMERON JEROMEBirmingham to StokeTHE INSIDER says: 3/5[LNB] [LNB]Liverpool have been setting the pace in the transfer market following their deal for Sunderland's Jordan Henderson and opening gambit for Blackburn teenager Phil Jones. [LNB]But that has prompted the Premier League's other big guns into action and champions United are set to snatch Jones from under Kenny Dalglish's nose today. [LNB]As Sportsmail revealed, a ?16m clause has to be hit before Blackburn's board will release the England Under 21 international and that could prove the only sticking point. [LNB]United would rather have offered players plus cash while Liverpool were willing to pay.[LNB]However, the player seems to be more keen on a move to Old Trafford where he can provide cover for central defence and the anchor role in midfield. [LNB]That would force Liverpool to switch back to other targets such as Bolton's Gary Cahill although they are unsure the England stopper represents good value with even Manchester City reluctant to pay the asking price.[LNB]Birmingham have to offload several players following their drop into the Championship. [LNB]Jerome can attract a decent fee and Birmingham will be looking for around ?5m. [LNB]Stoke manager Tony Pulis is an admirer and was keen on striking a deal in January when Ricardo Fuller was set to leave for Sunderland. [LNB]Birmingham where then asking around ?7m but they'll have to drop their valuation for a player who failed to score in 23 Premier League games after November. [LNB]As Sportsmail's Sami Mokbel revealed, Bolton are showing interest and Jerome may prefer to join Owen Coyle who has a good track record of bringing the best out of his strikers. [LNB]After the release of Johan Elmander, Coyle hopes to bring back Daniel Sturridge and appreciates that the work Jerome does around the pitch would justify a place in his side. [LNB]Stoke are scouring the market for good strikers with Caen's Youssef El Arabi very much in Pulis's thoughts also.[LNB]  JOEL LINDPERENew York Red Bulls to LeicesterTHE INSIDER says: 2/5[LNB]JI DONG WONChunham Dragons to SunderlandTHE INSIDER says: 2/5[LNB] [LNB] The vastly experienced former Estonia international has been a star performer in Major League Soccer and was voted Red Bulls' most valuable player of the year. [LNB]However, he wants to return to Europe to be closer to his family and is being targeted by English clubs. [LNB]Sven Goran Eriksson is well aware of his qualities as his old friend Hans Backe is Lindpere's coach at New York and is interested in the attacking qualities he could bring to Leicester's promotion push. [LNB]Premier League scouts have been monitoring him this year and the 29-year-old could prove a useful squad player in the top flight. [LNB]He is left-footed and can play wide or central midfield. He has clocked up 75 appearances for Estonia but has announced his international retirement as he looks to prolong his club career. Lindpere has formerly played for Tromso and CSKA Sofia.[LNB] The South Korea striker has denied that a move to the Stadium of Light has been completed but Sunderland are among a number of clubs who expressed interest in the 20-year-old. [LNB]Sportsmail revealed Bolton's interest earlier this year and Premier League teams are keen to tap into a market that has produced Park Ji Sung at United, Lee Chung Yong at Bolton and Park Chu-Young who is looking to move to England from Monaco. [LNB]In commercial terms it also opens up doors for the clubs in the Asian market as they look to increase their revenue from other areas in the globe. The chance to sign a top South Korean player who can handle the Premier League is almost too good to miss for some. [LNB]Dong, who had a trial with Reading in 2008, has six goals in 11 games for the national side and took the headlines with South Korea at the 2011 Asian Cup, where he scored four goals.[LNB] Don't miss your daily instalment of The Insider every weekday through the transfer window here at MailOnline.  Manchester United pip Liverpool and Arsenal to ?16m Blackburn defender Jones Club-by-club guide to all the Barclays Premier League summer transfersLiverpool agree ?20m Henderson deal as Dalglish lines up three more in revolution[LNB] [LNB]  Explore more:People: Simon Jones, Kenny Dalglish, Gary Cahill, Sven Goran Eriksson, Tony Pulis, Johan Elmander, Owen Coyle, Daniel Sturridge Places: Liverpool, Monaco, New York, Birmingham, Monaco, South Korea, Estonia, United Kingdom, Europe
