Terrors still chasing Gunning

Dundee United manager Peter Houston has confirmed the club are working on a deal to sign Gavin Gunning from Blackburn.[LNB] The Tangerines are looking to strengthen following the sale of star striker David Goodwillie to Blackburn on Wednesday.[LNB]Houston is a big fan of Gunning's ability after the Rovers man impressed in Scotland during a loan spell with Motherwell last season.[LNB]United's boss has met with Gunning and is crossing his fingers a deal can be done to bring the 20-year-old Irishman to Tannadice.[LNB]"I've met with Gavin and we are working to get a deal in place," confirmed Houston.[LNB]"He's quick, good in the air and strong in the tackle so we'd be delighted to get him on board."[LNB]
