Sunderland and Blackburn eye up Norwegian youngster Pedersen

Sunderland and Blackburn have entered the race to sign Stromsgodset striker Marcus Pedersen. Hamburg, FC Twente and Anderlecht have been keeping tabs on Pedersen's progress and, according to Norwegian newspaper Dagbladet, the Premier League sides are keen on the teenager. Perdersen, who had a trial at Liverpool in 2006, has impressed this season following a move from Hamarkamaratene and has scored nine goals in 22 games. The 19-year-old is under contract until 2012.
