Suitors warned Huth won't be cheap

Huth is one of many players linked with a summer move away from The Riverside after Boro failed to retain their Premier League status. The 24-year-old, who still has two years left on his current contract, has caught the eye of a number of German clubs interested in capturing his signature. Stoke boss Tony Pulis and his Blackburn counterpart Sam Allardyce are also admirers of Huth, while new Sunderland gaffer Steve Bruce is monitoring his situation having been given the green light to spend big by the Black Cats' owners. However, Shulte believes any club interested would have to make a significant offer for Boro to agree to let him go. "Robert has another two years left on his current deal and he has to respect that," he told Gazettelive. "He has played a big part for the club this year, but the club has been relegated from the Premier League, so like a few others he is responsible for this situation."
