Steve Kean confident Blackburn can avoid relegation

Steve Kean continuesto find positives despite Blackburn languishing just two points above the drop zone and is looking forward to tough-looking home games against Manchester City and Bolton.[LNB]Saturday's defeat at Everton left Rovers in a precarious position and their fans fearing the worst after nine games without a win.[LNB]Despite that worrying statistic, Kean said: 'We had decent momentum,'[LNB] Fall guys: Struggling Blackburn lost again at Everton, leaving them two points above the bottom three[LNB]'Even though it was only one point we got from each of the last three games, we were still unbeaten in three games and we had momentum.[LNB]'Now we have to go and build that up again.[LNB]'What we need to do is pick ourselves up and do the hard work again.[LNB]'We need to brush up on the things that weren't good in the second half and work again and improve the things that were good.[LNB]'You get back on the training ground and you look forward to two back-to-back home games.[LNB]'We have only lost seven out of 41 or 42 at home and we will work hard and grind out a result. That is the way you do it, through hard work.'[LNB]Kean takes further encouragement from the tightness of the competition and knows the picture can change quickly with a couple of good results.[LNB] Miles apart: Blackburn boss Kean would love to swap league places with Everton counterpart David Moyes[LNB][LNB]He said: 'I don't think anybody can predict any scores.[LNB]'I don't think anybody gave us a chance for our last away game but we went to Arsenal and got a result. You get results like that.[LNB]'West Brom put together a couple of wins and all of a sudden they bounced up the table.
