Steve Kean calls on Blackburn's owners to spend money

Kean admits the club needs to spend  after defeat to Wolves[LNB]Blackburn boss Steve Kean has sent a stark warning to the club's Indian owners that they will have to splash the cash in order to avoid a bleak Barclays Premier League season at Ewood Park.[LNB]Rovers were beaten 2-1 by Wolves in their home opener yesterday after Mauro Formica's debut goal was cancelled out by Stephen Fletcher's header and a fine strike from Stephen Ward.[LNB]Kean admitted Rovers currently have bids in for four players but says club bosses may have little choice butto increase the offers in order to attract the new personnel his side so badly need.[LNB]Kean said: 'We are making realistic bids and they are not coming off. Maybe we will have to pay over the odds to ensure that we get people here.[LNB]'Wehave to speed up the process because I don't think we can go another couple of games having to play central midfielders at centre-half.
