Middlesbrough boss Gareth Southgate reckons thh Teessiders threw the Premier League survival race wide open with Saturday's 3-1 win over Hull.Boro are now just two points from safety after beating the Tigers, who will be looking over their shoulders along with the likes of Sunderland and Blackburn.Southgate reckons his men had been written off in some quarters before the weekend and he is glad to have made the scrap for survival more open again."They're starting to look over their shoulders now because they realise we are not dead and buried after all," he said in the Daily Star."That puts extra pressure on them as beforehand they might have thought there was just one relegation place left."Boro took just one point from four games following their last victory, against Liverpool, and Southgate knows Saturday's success will count for little unless his players can build some momentum."It changes things psychologically as well as mathematically," he said."Now we have to build on such a big win.
