Seagulls wince as Ince says no

The 41-year-old is the second person to turn down the post in a week after Jim Gannon decided to stay at Stockport. The Seagulls are on the lookout for a new manager after axing Micky Adams at the end of February with the club currently 22nd in the table, two points from safety. Brighton chairman Dick Knight was expected to fly to Manchester to interview Ince but the former England international is thought to be holding out for a job in the Championship or higher. The Seagulls chief now looks set to offer the job to former Yeovil manager Russell Slade. "We look at all jobs and judge them on their individual merits," Ince's agent Steve Kutner told The Sun. "He has been offered a few but we do not feel there has been anything suitable yet." Leyton Orient 10/11, Draw 12/5, Brighton 11/4
