Sam`s promise to Rovers starlets
Blackburn manager Sam Allardyce has promised his bright young things they will get a chance to hone their skills at Ewood Park.
Defender Phil Jones is embracing the Premier League at the age of 18 and Allardyce would love others to follow.
He told www.rovers.co.uk: "I am very much a part of what young players have and what we can develop.
"So many players at Premier League clubs never progress. To me it is about getting Academy players to the senior ground on a regular basis. That is something I have done from day one."
