Samba Hopes Rovers Wont Stop His Dream Move

Defender Christopher Samba has told Blackburn that if the right offer came along, he would indeed quit Rovers this summer. Samba speaks after signing a deal that would keep him at the club until 2015 recently, he has also been linked with a move to Arsenal of late, almost at a daily basis. But Rovers boss Steve Kean does not want to lose another star defender, it’s something that Rovers can ill-afford after letting Phil Jones move to Manchester United earlier in the month. Samba has revealed that he is eager to play at a higher level and hopes that the club would not attempt to stop him from fulfilling his dream. Speaking to L'Equipe, Samba said: "For four-and-a-half years I have been at Blackburn and fought against relegation. "If a good opportunity presents itself, I want to take it. "I hope the club will understand if I want to make the step up and not prevent a deal."
