Sam searching for passion

Blackburn Rovers manager Sam Allardyce has stressed the need for his side to ensure their desire matches their talent. Rovers' 2-1 win over Hull City last weekend was enough to pull the North West club out of the relegation places on goal difference. But former Bolton Wanderers boss Allardyce is under no illusions as to the task that lies ahead, with 12 games of the season remaining. Allardyce has referenced his days in charge of Bolton, where he built a committed side capable of avoiding relegation from the Premier League. He said on Sky Sports News: "The difference here is they have got the talent, which is no disrespect to my Bolton side in the first year or so. "They [Bolton] didn't have as much talent as this squad, but we had great work ethic, great team spirit and really good organisation. "That allowed us to eventually, with a bit of quality, get out of that position. The Bolton side then grew into a very, very good all-round team, contrary to the reputation we got. "These lads (at Blackburn) have got talent but have just let it be misguided on occasions, and allow the talent to be wasted. "I think pulling it together with organisation, passion and team spirit - which we showed on Sunday - allows the ability to come out more. "Ultimately in the end, it will hopefully get us more victories."
